Fortnite is often dismissed as a kids’ game. Sure, the colorful graphics, dance emotes, and cartoonish violence make it seem like a playground for the younger crowd.
But while it might be bright and playful on the surface, that doesn’t mean it shies away from some pretty dark and twisted details. A discovery in Chapter 5 Season 4, featuring none other than Marvel’s iconic Dr Doom, proves this point.
Fortnite Seals One Hero’s Grim Fate Into Stone
For quite a while now, the battle royale has been going all-in on its Marvel collaborations, and the current Season is no exception.
Fans previously theorized that the Wanderer is Dr Doom, and the next trailer for the next Season may have just confirmed it, while also putting the menacing villain front and center in the update.
There’s one detail though, that has everyone talking, and it’s a grim one. Players have noticed something completely chilling about his throne in the upcoming update.
Not just the color scheme, but even the fabric draped over the throne looks quite familiar.

That’s right, it’s The Thing. It seems like the two had a terrifying clash, and Doom decided to commemorate the victory by sitting on the remains of his old rival.
Although, it’s a little funny when you think about how he’s sitting on his lap. That being said, the next time someone tells you that the battle royale is just a kids’ game, feel free to bring up this lovely little detail.

The discovery has sparked a wave of reactions. Fans of Fortnite can’t tell whether to laugh or cry at the sheer madness of Doom’s actions. It’s a little impressive to see a game like this have body horror to this extent.

People are hilariously raising calls to put the hero back together. There could always be a chance he’s revived through some mythical ways.
For now, it seems like he’ll have to stay as someone else’s chair.

This act is more than cruel; it’s next-level villainy and quite terrifying considering the kind of image the game has.
