The world of Dragon Ball means a lot to people all across the globe, as the level of impact that the franchise has had is extraordinary. All of that is owed to the legendary manga writer and DB creator Akira Toriyama, whose passing at the beginning of this month proved to be heartbreaking for fans of his cherished work.

With Sparking Zero approaching its supposed launch date, the community wants to see Toriyama included in the game in some shape or form, giving life to a petition and an amazing potential tribute.

Dragon Ball Creator Akira Toriyama Should Have an Amazing Finishing Move

If Tori-Bot is a playable character in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, he should be extremely OP.

A Dragon Ball fan took to the Tenkaichi 4 subreddit and shared the petition that was created after creator Akira Toriyama passed away in hopes of it reaching more people in the community.

Currently sitting at 27 signatures, the Change.org petition’s aim is to ask developer Spike Chunsoft and publisher Bandai Namco to include Tori-Bot, a recurring character based on the legendary manga artist who has appeared as a guest in multiple forms of media, in the upcoming fourth Budokai Tenkaichi title called Sparking Zero.

In the case that the fanbase’s requests actually get heard, Toriyama is given a worthy tribute, and Tori-Bot turns out to be a playable character, it would only make sense for the developers to give him his own special finishing move that he unleashes on his enemies during battles.

Another fan suggests an amazing way in which Toriyama can be included in the game, saying that Tori-Bot “might work as a gag character like Saitama” by being extremely overpowered during fights, but that is not where the OP mayhem should end. As a fitting finisher, Tori-Bot should take out a “large pencil that can just erase” the opponent, which should cause the battle to end right that instant.

Since it is no secret that the Dragon Ball creator’s ultimate weapon has always been a pencil to bring the manga to life, it would be a personalized and great tribute to honor his legacy.

The Upcoming Game Should Let Players Customize Tori-Bot’s Moves

Akira Toriyama deserves the greatest tribute possible in the upcoming game.

Other fans also agreed that Tori-Bot’s inclusion would be pretty “awesome,” suggesting their own takes on the tribute and the character’s fight moves.

According to another DragonBall enthusiast, “the best thing they could do is have a pool of moves to choose from that” players can customize in preparation for the next battle, which would “be perfect because since it’s Toriyama, he can do anything, so the sky’s the limit.”

But even if the developers do not make him a playable character, the least they can do is have “him as a spectator in the world tournament stage” because his presence naturally holds great value in people’s hearts.
