Unreal Engine 5 has the power to bring things to life and Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is among the video games that showcase its capabilities. Things that were really possible before can be done in a snap. The level of detail can simply blow anyone’s mind.
And it was not just the visuals but the physics and other capabilities in video game development that were enhanced. The upcoming Spike Chunsoft game shows one of those capabilities that wasn’t really possible 17 years ago.
Even the Camera Couldn’t Keep up With Goku in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero
Speed is what matters more than energy attacks in the Dragon Ball universe. That is why the upcoming Bandai Namco game is so special as it opens up vast possibilities for Budokai Tenkaichi fans would only dream of. Now that’s a dream come true.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero leverages Unreal Engine 5 to the extent no game in the series’ video game adaptations has gone before. In one clip shared over social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Goku and Broly can be seen fighting, where the former uses Dragon Dash from a distance.
To be able to dash from that distance in Dragon Ball Sparking Zero is wild pic.twitter.com/s7srnCHSmV

It was so quick that even those fans say the camera couldn’t keep up.

For the ones who believed that this mechanic was a part of previous games, this one fan clarified that it was the distance that was central to the discussion and the Dragon Dash.
For all the guys saying "nothing is new" he's not talking about the machanics but the distance which is massive

It appears like Goku has gotten much-needed attention too, as fans were concerned about how he would play in-game.
Dragon Dash Had a Better Version Featured in Budokai Tenkaichi 3
Dragon Dash is one technique that can allow a fighter to gain an upper hand quickly. It can be used alongside a regular hit or a charged hit, where the latter is able to knock an opponent away.
It was named in the Budokai Tenkaichi series, where one of the games features an updated version of the technique dubbed Z Burst Dash. Xenoverse games features the technique as Boost Dash and the sequel had a stronger version of it called Aura Burst Dash.
Users in Kakarot can use this feature but it’s a bit different given that it isn’t exactly a fighting game. They can fly fast using the Boost Flight, but they cannot execute aerial loops in the game.
Many more techniques will be featured, and it will be eye-catching, especially owing to the fact that every character was developed keeping their personality in mind.
