The Fusions in the Upcoming Dragon Ball Game Wow Fans

Bandai Namco knows exactly what Dragon Ball fans are waiting for.

There have been a ton of games in the franchise before Sparking Zero, and there will possibly be more to come over the next few decades. However, this game is a significant departure from the past, in that it feels like a transition toward the next generation of Dragon Ball games.

All of the animations, art, voice acting, gameplay, and other aspects of the game have proved just that. The team at Bandai Namco is giving it their all to bring this game to the hands of fans, and the community is on the edge of their seat, waiting to grab a copy once it’s finally out.

In the latest trailer, ‘Fused Warriors,’ the fusions in the game have finally been revealed, and they show that the franchise is taking everything to the next level with this Budokai Tenkaichi revival.

We get glimpses of Vegito (Goku and Vegeta), Gogeta (Metamoran fusion of Goku and Vegeta), Fused Zamasu (Potara fusion of Goku Black and Future Zamasu), Gotenks (Goten and Trunks), (Potara fusion of Caulifla and Kale).

It takes two to master the art of fusion, and there are certainly a lot of fusions that fans are super excited to play. Just when you think the game can’t get any better, it continues to blow people’s minds.

The Roster Seemingly Has No End

This Budokai Tenkaichi revival is going all-in on its star-studded roster.
This Budokai Tenkaichi revival is going all-in on its star-studded roster.

It’s not just the hype that can’t seem to hit a superficial limit, but the roster too. There seem to be frequent updates that are almost impossible to keep up with. In March, we saw the addition of eleven new fan favorites to play as.

The addition of fusion characters adds another layer to the roster we already have. Which, by the way, is confirmed to be more than 164 characters strong.

Is there even enough time in the world to play all of them? Fans certainly think so and will probably prove the same soon after launch.

There’s a lot of pressure on this game to perform well; it’s the first game to be released after Akira Toriyama’s passing, and the original Budokai Tenkaichi series it’s based on is highly regarded as one of the best fighting game franchises in a long time.

The game already has an audience, and there’s plenty of hype. All it needs to do now is deliver.
