Dragon Ball is among the most influential animes created over time and still invokes inspiration among fans. Such was a case seen on the internet recently when a content creator recreated the most iconic battle featured in the franchise. Though Planet Namek’s missing, fans won’t really miss it while watching the clip.

The Frieza Saga is close to fans’ hearts as they saw their beloved Goku, the franchise’s protagonist, turn to a Super Saiyan for the first time. Even today, the moment has the power to make the strands at the back of the hair stand in goosebumps.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will give fans a chance to live and, most importantly, recreate the moments they saw in the anime. But this fan doesn’t really need to play the game, as he himself did a job that certainly deserves a pat on the back from the entire community.

Going by the name oooMin on the short-form video-sharing platform TikTok, he shared a stop motion video featuring a recreated battle with a pinch of changes. It was later shared by a user dubbed dani on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), which has garnered over three million views at the time of writing.

The video begins with the unlucky Krillin who is murdered (again) by Frieza for fun, invoking the golden warrior in Goku. While the fight takes place on Planet Namek, which is destroyed by Frieza, who uses his infamous Destroy The Planet! energy attack. He probably won’t need it at the guy’s home.

And it’s not just the Dragon Ball warriors who are present at the home stage; fans can see Spider-Man, Deadpool, and Han Solo for a brief moment.

It Will be Worth Seeing if Fans Can Recreate a Better Battle

The entire saga spanned 33 episodes; much of it went along with clenched fists and angry stares, and Goku’s fight against Frieza alone took 17 episodes to conclude in Dragon Ball Z. However, it didn’t really seal the faith of the mighty antagonist, as we see him returning in future sagas. Still, the anime is yet to see the villain’s mightiest form, called Black Frieza.

Now that Sparking Zero has an official release date, fans might be dying out of curiosity as to what’s in store for them. Recent trailers and demo gameplay gave us a glimpse of how a deeper of dive this game takes into the heart of the Dragon Ball universe.

Players will get to see the original sagas from the anime and it would be great to see how they recreate the moments in a range of narratives including the Frieza arc.
