One of these mechanics is not letting players have the possibility of a new game in the menu; they need to delete the save completely to start a new adventure. Fortunately, Capcom has listened to fans and made some changes that came with the latest patch. The patch notes include all the additional RPG features.

Capcom has released Dragon’s Dogma 2, a long-awaited role-playing game, which could be one of the best of the year. The core and hardcore gamers of the genre are the target audience for this game, despite its lack of useful features. With basic mechanics like lock-on enemies, map marks, and other common elements not being part of this title, even without all these things, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is making a good impression.

Nevertheless, Capcom has listened to fans and made some changes to one particular feature that makes no sense at all. It is all described in the patch notes.

The patch notes have added a new game option that allows you to play a new adventure without deleting any saves. This was one of the first things that players noticed when accessing Dragon’s Dogma 2. Players can now access places to rest and save earlier in the game, making the journey a lot more accessible.

Other additions are among the graphics options of the game, as well as some bug fixes.

DD2 May Have Opened the Door for More Players

Dragon's Dogma 2 is probably one of the best games of the year.

The latest update also brings some graphic options for the players to have, like Motion Blur or Raytracing. You can even set the maximum FPS to 30 fps to make the experience more enjoyable without any complications, especially for console players. So Capcom is listening to the community but will not compromise the core experience that the studio was aiming for with DD2.

On March 21, Capcom released a new and highly anticipated title for the PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Many players understand that the game caters to hardcore RPG fans, yet some features seem excessive. After all the controversy with microtransactions, DD2 is a solid title.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
