Meanwhile, Pitt is an acclaimed name in the entertainment industry, who rose to fame due to his charisma and acting prowess and quickly gained widespread recognition. It would not be shocking to see him as one of the biggest actors in the business, given his legendary acting career.
Ironically, because of an incident that left the former boxer scarred, Tyson and Pitt were almost prepared to face off. Not even he was sure what to do at that moment, being confused by the whole situation. Whatever happened, it would always be ingrained in Tyson’s memory.
The Alleged Affair Between Brad Pitt & Mike Tyson’s Ex-wife
Mike Tyson and Robin Givens were happily in love, but their marriage was short-lived—just a year. It was barely a year after they first dated that they got married. Regretfully, their romance was unable to last because the two chose to part ways. The 57-year-old heavyweight boxer once claimed that he frequently went to her house to have s*xual relations with her, even though they were going through a divorce.
Brad Pitt was also involved in one specific incident that happened while Tyson and Givens were still married. In addition to being upset with the Hollywood star, the heavyweight champion also claimed to have struck him.
During a previous episode of In Depth With Graham Bensinger, Tyson confessed:
“I was mad as hell! I was going to…you should have seen his face when he saw me. I was due a divorce but every day I would go to her house to have s*x with her. This particular day, someone beat me to the punch. I guess Brad Pitt got there earlier than I did.”
Tyson has spoken about this story several times. In his book, he opened up about the moment when he claimed Brad Pitt said (via the Daily Mail):

Why Was Mike Tyson Frightened By Brad Pitt?
Brad Pitt scared Mike Tyson just as much as the Academy Award-winning actor, 60, feared the legendary boxer. He was curious if Brad Pitt would try to beat him up by using some of the moves he does in his action flicks.
Tyson recounted (via Sway’s Universe) the following:
“It’s Brad ‘the shi*t’ Pitt. Listen, you should have saw [seen] his face when he saw me. He looked like he must have been a little high. ‘Cause I know about high. He smoked w*ed.”
The boxer was completely taken aback when he saw Pitt in bed with Robin Givens, his former spouse. He noticed Pitt’s face going pale as soon as Tyson discovered them. Additionally, he made note of how obviously high the actor was. It did not sit well with him when he discovered Givens cheating. It turns out that not everyone was as terrified as Pitt was.
“He wasn’t the Brad now with the reputation he’s now upholding. But you know, now, he’s like a beach b*m, a little nerdy. And man, he was scared the sh*t. I was scared too ’cause this is pre-Matrix. That Brazilian Karate shi*t – trying to run but coming back.”
As for Tyson, it seems he has since come to terms with forgiveness and peace in his heart (he is happily married), choosing to focus on the positive aspects of his life instead of dwelling on his past.
