Many bodybuilders have tried to imitate Arnold Schwarzenegger over the years. Since it takes a lot of work to develop a physique like the seven-time Mr. Olympia, only a select few have distinguished themselves. Well, in the history of bodybuilding, can there be another physique like the Pumping Iron star? But we found his lookalike, who has caused quite a stir online in terms of The Austrian Oak’s appearance.
The actor, who served as the 38th governor of California from 2003 to 2011, may have finally found his long-lost twin. Joel Kellett, a bodybuilder, has become well-known for having an uncanny resemblance to the legendary action figure. We learned about this doppelganger sensation whose incredible body has really left the internet in awe.
Has Arnold Schwarzenegger a Twin Brother Or a Son?
George Gallo had discovered Calum Von Moger to play Arnold Schwarzenegger in his 2018 comedy-drama film, Bigger. If Australian actor and bodybuilder, 33, is the most similar-looking Schwarzenegger ‘clone’, there is still another bodybuilder with the latter’s physique.
Do you think Joel Kellett is the modern-day Arnold Schwarzenegger? He seems to have established himself as the bodybuilder who is often compared to The Austrian Oak.
The similarities between Kellett and Schwarzenegger are in terms of physique, poses, and even muscle mass. Last month, a YouTube video went viral, in which the YouTuber made the following claims about the former:
“It looks like he [Joel Kellett] hoped in a time machine and sent it back to 1981 because this is absolutely identical. If Arnold Schwarzenegger has a long-lost son, this might be the guy. The way he poses the muscles, bellies, everything—it literally just looks like an Arnold Schwarzenegger body.”
Fans Could Not Ignore the Bizarre Resemblance
Fans have been in awe of Joel Kellett’s viral physique. One fan wrote:
“He’s even got the barrel chest and round shoulders when you see his Insta[gram].”
While another said:
“If he had a long-lost son??? He very famously has a long-lost son with his maid, hahaha.”
One fan exclaimed in shock:
“Bro gotta do dna check.”
One was certain that he had a “chest” similar to that of The Terminator star:
“Dude, he’s literally got Arnold’s chest. Like EXACTLY the same.”
Even one said the following in disbelief:
“He might actually be Arnold’s long lost son because Arnold was spreading his seed everywhere he goes.”
Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently claimed that he did not enjoy counting calories, though, in contrast to many bodybuilders. A calorie surplus is ideal for building muscle, while a calorie deficit is necessary for fat loss (along with strength training).
But the actor, 76, claimed in a recent fan Q&A in his newsletter, Arnold’s Pump Club, that he loved adopting an unscientific approach. He wrote:
“I call it turning the dial. I add just a little or cut out just a little, maybe cutting bread or adding bread (just one food), see how it goes, and then turn the dial more if I need.”
As for how many calories he consumes, Schwarzenegger added that he has “no clue” and instead based his food choices on how well he performs. He continued, saying:
“I really have never known anything and just turned the dial.”
On the professional front, he recently appeared in the Netflix action-comedy series FUBAR, which was created by Nick Santora. Produced by Skydance Television and Blackjack Films, the show received a second season renewal in June 2023.
You can stream FUBAR on Netflix.
