If the Rock is to really make his return, it might be happening in just under two months from now.

Back in September, Dwayne Johnson made a surprise appearance at SmackDown on September 15, 2023. While the crowd cheered and gave him a standing ovation, The Rock made his way to the ring where he gave his former foe, Austin Theory the People’s elbow along with his mate Pat McAfee (via YouTube). Ever since then, there have been rumors that he might be making his WWE comeback.

And now just days ago, while posting about the Make-A-Wish Foundation event on Instagram, he revealed that he told ‘a little secret that may or may not involve some dude returning to WWE to lay the SmackDown on all their candy a**es‘ to his winning fan.

And since the Elimination Chamber 2024 begins in Perth on Feb 24, 2024, The Rock may appear as early as Feb 24 at the Opus Stadium or take a bit longer than that to finally make his WWE return (via Wrestling INC). Furthermore, as per The West Australian, there are reports that the local tourism helmers have been pitching this scheme to WWE.

While nothing is confirmed yet, fans remain hopeful that they might get to see the Jumangi star in his wrestling persona once again.

While on The Pat McAfee Show, Dwayne Johnson stated that although the plan never came about, he is open to having the fight to give the fans something just incredible and unprecedented. Not only does he hope to give everyone an event that they won’t forget but he hopes to put them in a position where they’re part of something that is a new change in the world of pro-wrestling.

The actor even remarked that such an event might also take place at WrestleMania 40, slated to take place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in April. As fans excitedly wait for something more definitive, a The Rock vs. Roman Reigns fight would be one for the history books.
