As proof of his dedication to work, Dwayne Johnson went on to share a photo of a ripped-off gate of his house that he managed to pull apart as he was getting late for work, 45 minutes to be exact. The actor shows it off on social media as he geared up for his next role.
Dwayne Johnson Shows a Feat of Strength by Ripping off His Gate
Dwayne Johnson has been no stranger to strength as he has been a wrestler himself with a wrestling gene running in his family as his father Rocky Johnson was in the profession himself. The Black Adam actor got into pro wrestling very early on in his career, earning his fair share of success and fame in the game. He received his stage name The Rock during his early days of pro wrestling and Dwayne Johnson is still known to this date by his stage name.
Johnson has always been considerate of people’s time, knowing how precious it is to each and every one. This led to him ripping off the front gate of his house as there was a power outage owing to a storm and heavy rain the night before. The actor tried every possible means to open the gate, as he desperately wanted to leave for work on time. From the likes of using the hydraulic system to calling up the gate technician, he tried it all, but none seemed to work. Johnson was then left with no other option but to take the gate off its hinges and he had the strength to pull that off. Sharing a picture of the damage on Instagram, Dwayne Johnson revealed what had happened. Johnson wrote,
“I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself. Ripped it completely out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass. My security team was able to meet the gate technician and welders about an hour later – and they were apparently ‘in disbelief and equally scared’ as to how I ripped it off.”
Dwayne Johnson, later on, posted a video of the destruction with the gate technicians carrying away the broken gate in utter shock and disbelief. Johnson went on to comment that it wasn’t his best day at work but a lot of people were waiting for him, so he did what he had to do as he hopped in his pickup truck and left for work.
