EA has released a brand new reveal trailer for EA Sports FC 24, which will be their first release under this new title since they separated from FIFA, so far we haven’t gained much information in regards to this new release besides the announcement trailer that has been released, but it has got many Football fans very excited as they can’t wait to get their hands on this new title.
What information do we have about the release?
At this current time, there isn’t a lot of known information in regards to EA Sports FC 24, but what we do know is that on July 13th, there will be a live stream hosted by EA that will provide some more details on what to expect in this upcoming title. So far, the only information given to us by EA is “This event will feature a keynote from executive spokespeople and special guests, include details on the upcoming EA Sports FC 24 title, and reveal the highly anticipated global cover athlete,” and so far that is all we are going to hear officially.
On the other hand, if we look at unofficial information such as leaks and rumours, a well-known data miner known as Billbil-kun has found some information in regards to a potential release date which they have revealed as September 29th, but as always, this is just a rumour and may not be a realistic release date, but many gamers will be hoping that it is.
Will this new title be as popular as FIFA once was?
Only time will tell if EA’s new title will be as good as they were when they were partnered with FIFA, but so far, the development team have only had positive remarks in regards to the separation as they have found it to be a great opportunity to branch out and create new and innovative ways to play and enjoy this new project of theirs.
One of EA Sports VPs, David Jackson spoke to The Mirror in an interview regarding the future of this new project and mentioned that he believes “EA Sports FC is our future vision,” and he has also stated that “I think we’ve done a very good job and had a great relationship over time with the FIFA organisation, but now’s the right time for us to set a new path and chart our own path forward,” which I’m sure many gamers will be very excited to receive a new and improved take on Football gaming as Jackson has also stated that this will be a “new and engaging experience” for new players.
