As you can gauge from the fan reactions, the response to the new Echo poster is positive as it highlights the titular character with an unexpected twist. Since Maya Lopez’s hearing inability is a major part of the character, she often relies on sign language. As a result, the poster features the show’s title spelled out through sign language instead of the traditional face shots that have become a jarring and mundane mainstay of MCU posters.
