Gear 5 Transformation in One Piece

Usopp if given the powers of Gear 5, would become extremely strong as he would be able to modify his surroundings which would not only help him with his sniping but could also act as a form of defense. However, this would change the entire plot of the story and Usopp might lose his cowardly yet entertaining personality which is one of the biggest traits of Usopp as a character.
