Gege Akutami’s Disaster Class Has Made Naruto Fans Bow Down to Masashi Kishimoto’s Greatness

Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen was considered to be one of the best new-gen anime, but it has been notorious for traumatizing its viewers. The mangaka would not hold back in killing favorite characters such as Kento Nanami, Gojo Satoru, Riko Amanai, Toji Fushiguro, and so many more.

The series was hitting its peak climax as the Jujutsu sorcerers put their lives on the line as they fought the Dishonored One. Chapter 268 of the show hinted at the conclusion of the nonstop 50-chapter battle. The author decided to do Sukuna dirty by getting him overwhelmed, where he was seen having a deep conversation with Megumi.

Yuji decided to capitalize on the moment as he used Black Flash to weaken Sukuna’s clutch. Hence, once the conversation came to an end, the reincarnation was undone, with the residuals lying on the floor. Thus, ending the reign of The King of Curses.

Fans of the show were deeply involved in the War Arc and were shocked to learn that Black Zetsu had betrayed Madara Uchiha in order to bring the Ōtsutsuki descendent back to life.

The sudden shift felt jarring, and her lackluster entry offended their fans. Furthermore, they were equally annoyed by her backstory and how she laid down the foundation of Chakra. This lack of smooth narrative development became a sore spot for the viewers.

However, watching the criticism following Akutami’s magnum opus and the bland ending following The King of the Curses made the fans reiterate their opinion following Kishimoto-San’s antagonist; they were not afraid to voice it on social media.
