Outer Gods are mentioned throughout Elden Ring but they do not appear to manifest physical forms within the Lands Between and instead influence the events of the Lands Between in various ways.

The Outer Gods are also responsible for the events that happen both before and during Elden Ring‘s story.

Elden Ring players believe that they might have discovered the inspiration behind The Lands Between. In a post on the r/EldenRing subreddit, a player pointed out that the map of the game is very similar to the island of Hokkaido in Japan.

The first major DLC for Elden Ring called Shadow of the Erdtree was released last month. The expansion pack indeed added a lot of new exciting content to the game, however, it also brought back Hidetaka Miyazaki‘s traditional punishing difficulty level.

Many bosses in the DLC, particularly the final one, have proven to be very challenging for the players. However, players need to keep in mind that the difficulty level is deliberately set high as it is a part of the gaming experience.

FromSoftware’s Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Apart from being the best, it is also one of the best-selling games of all time.
