Elden Ring is a difficult game. Take it as a statement, fact, cultural phenomenon, or epiphany. Conquering the game’s many challenges is no easy feat, and most bosses require a certain skillset to get through.
However, one player has seemingly gotten through Shadow of the Erdtree’s final boss without really doing much. This may sound like a humble way of putting things forward, but that’s truly not the case.
Don’t You Hate It When a Boss Just Disappears?
When a player shared a clip of their final boss encounter from Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree on Reddit, the community gasped in awe, shock, and despair. While many are celebrating their hard-earned victory against the game’s final boss Promised Consort Radahn, this player found themselves lost and confused.
According to their gameplay experience, Radahn simply disappeared mid-flight. No spells, glitches, cheats, or mods were used. Of course, this is a bug, but there’s no official word from FromSoftware about this yet. In the meantime, fan reactions feel priceless.
So the final boss just turned invisible and died immediately after… anyone else encounter this? I feel like I got robbed of a good fight

Some consider this to be the best way to go against the boss. After all, who needs to fight Radahn when he can do it himself? One can be their own worst enemy, and FromSoftware isn’t new to that narrative.
For the first time, this might just be a game bug players want to have rather than have fixed. However, on the other side is an entire community that craves the kind of challenge Radahn and other bosses bring, and Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree doesn’t shy away from that.
What Makes Radahn Such a Tough Opponent in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree?

Radahn isn’t a new name in Elden Ring’s DLC. The incredibly challenging demigod first appeared in the base game, unfortunately fighting the Tarnished in a not-so-nice condition. Scarred from previous battles and gone mad, Radahn still proved his mettle by using gravity-based magic and powerful melee attacks.
However, in the expansion, we see a version of Radahn that the game hasn’t explored before. This is the demigod in his prime, assisted by no other than Miquella. Unfortunately, not everyone in the community believes that FromSoftware did justice to the character, but the fight is daunting regardless.
The fight happens in two phases, and Radahn uses a range of attacks that include gravity cyclones, wells, and more. In the second part of the fight, Miquella assists the demigod, and bursts of holy damage are something players have to counter or dodge.
