One Elden Ring Player Has Only Just Found One of the Best Shields in the Game, and This Is Why Its the Best.
According to a recent post on Reddit by the user Oldeluke, there is one item they have only just managed to find, which can make their Shadow of the Erdtree experience so much easier. The item in question is the Great Turtle Shell shield, which is quite a funny and formidable shield to use.
For anyone who has played Elden Ring, you will be familiar with the turtle shells in the game, as enemy turtles are practically unkillable. This is represented in this shield, as originally, back when Elden Ring was released, it used to negate 100% of the damage, creating an impenetrable fortress that couldn’t be broken through even by the strongest of enemies.
Now this has been changed, and the shield no longer has this protection, as it has now been reduced by a rather marginal amount. However, this shield does still have the unique ability to increase stamina recovery speed, which is incredibly useful when using a shield, as the more an enemy attacks the shield, your stamina will be reduced.
Along With the Great Turtle Shield, There Is Also a Great Turtle Talisman.
Even though the Great Turtle Shield is a brilliant addition to anyone’s build in Elden Ring, to make it even better, players should look towards pairing it with the Great Turtle Talisman, as this also increases the recovery rate of stamina.
Pairing these two items together, along with other items that the player chooses, you will become an unstoppable force of nature as you attempt to fight your way through the lands between without even stopping to take a breath.
At the moment, these are some of the best stamina recovery items in the game, but once Shadow of the Erdtree releases sometime in the future, this could all change, and we could be looking at a whole new meta that takes the game by storm as all kinds of items, spells, weapons, and talismans bring a whole new method of gameplay.
