While answering fan questions from X/Twitter, one of the questions that was asked Joe was the games he was currently playing to which he replied that he had recently finished Elden Ring, adding that he finished it without any broken builds or hyper super magic builds. He further added that after finishing Elden Ring, he’s been playing Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands.

Samoa Joe has also appeared in a starring role for a streaming show called Twisted Metal. Twisted Metal is a post-apocalyptic action-comedy series adapted from vehicular combat video games of the same name published by Sony PlayStation. The Twisted Metal video games were released almost three years ago and were very popular.

The TV show pays tribute to the game and Joe plays the physical role of Sweet Tooth. The show is funny and violent and Joe has done a great job playing the iconic role of Sweet Tooth.

Moreover, the AEW world champion is also voicing a character in Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming title Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Samoa Joe is voicing King Shark in Kill the Justice League and recently spoke about his experience voicing the character during an interview with Bleacher Report.

Joe said that he had an amazing time voicing King Shark, adding that the character is “quite the intelligent savage” and he can easily relate to how King Shark feels about things. He added that it was incredible to be surrounded by the “super-talented voice cast” of the game and also appreciated Rocksteady Studios’ writing.

He also added that he is aware of different portrayals of King Shark across media and King Shark in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is probably the “most unique interpretation” of the character. While it is understandable that Joe will speak this highly of the game and character as it is nearing its release and also that he is voicing King Shark it remains to be seen how correct he is when the game launches on February 2, 2024.
