It’s time for a new expansion for Elden Ring fans. Undoubtedly, Shadow of the Erdtree is coming to do just that, offering new areas, weapons, equipment, bosses, exploration, and much more. There is currently no official launch window or details regarding the content. This is causing people’s interest to grow day by day.
The DLC’s uncertain launch day and the limited official information available so far suggest this could be a massive addition. This aligns with fans’ expectations, allowing them to express what they should expect. So, Elden Ring players are asking for the most unlikely enemies or bosses to appear in Shadow of the Erdtree.
Elden Ring Fans Take up Their Swords for Unexpected Enemies
Elden Ring players continue speculating about what they can expect in the upcoming expansion. Well, based on the most interacted comments on social media, it appears that the most anticipated enemies are Godskin Champion and Godskin Flayer. Not limited to these, but they also express a desire to encounter enemies, such as a new knight enemy, reminiscent of the Ringed Knight.
Another fan suggested introducing a new type of Godskin enemy as a monstrous creature rather than a humanoid, which would be fantastic. Another request was for the Ridim, Eater of Death Blight (a play on Midir from Dark Souls), to be an optional boss.
Lastly, there’s a considerable demand from fans to see a female Godskin Nun adept at ranged attacks and spell casting. Similarly, there’s a fervent desire for the inclusion of Godskin Piqueux.
Overall, the requests are quite unexpected, and are quite humorous as well.
When Should We Expect the Shadow of the Erdtree?
This expansion was announced on February 28th, 2023. However, players haven’t received any official announcements regarding the release window. Some speculated it would debut in late 2023, but here we are in 2024 without any news.
