Elon Musk reportedly saved his alleged ex-girlfriend Amber Heard from getting fired once. The trailer for the Aquaman 2 movie didn’t necessarily come at a perfect time, it was far from perfect, to say the least. After the legal court documents from the nasty Johnny Depp and Amber Heard legal battle ‘leaked’ on Reddit, Warner Bros. was worried about their next move. Following all the chaos, a source familiar with the behind-the-scenes drama shared that Jason Momoa wanted Heard fired from the project. Reportedly, the multi-billionaire Elon Musk swooped in to save the day.

While the actor’s PR team remained tight-lipped, refraining from confirming or denying the statement, a spokesperson from the DC franchise took it upon themselves to tackle the situation on behalf of the film. Their objective was to salvage the tarnished reputation associated with the project. They stated,

“Jason Momoa conducted himself in a professional manner at all times on the set of ‘Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.’”

Although the true extent of the damage control efforts made remains unknown, the film’s controversy undeniably grabbed considerable media attention and made quite a few headlines.

How Elon Musk Saved the Damsel in Distress

After the splash of Aquaman in 2018, the studio and director James Wan made a bold decision to move forward without the actress for the sequel. The reason? Heard’s on-screen chemistry with Momoa simply didn’t just spark. Consequently, it subtly implied that the decision to let go of the actress was made independently and long before, completely unrelated to any suggested unprofessional behavior on Momoa’s part.

But many insider sources stated otherwise, and thus the truth will forever be shrouded in the mystery. In the end, the studio thus, refrained from taking action against Heard due to an unexpected twist, all thanks to her alleged ex-boyfriend, Elon Musk, who unleashed his legal team, and sent Warner Bros. a fiercely worded letter, as mentioned by a source to Variety, “scorched-earth letter to Warner Bros. threatening to burn the house down”.

Thus it can now be said that eventually Elon Musk emerged as an unexpected hero in Amber Heard’s story. With his legal firepower, he not only defended the actress but also managed to salvage her position in the whole narrative.
