Jacob Elordi is known for portraying the role of Noah Flynn in The Kissing Booth film series. Alongside the movies, the actor has also appeared in HBO’s Euphoria and is quite loved around the world which makes him a perfect candidate for the role of Elvis Presley.
With a movie based on the life of Priscilla, the wife of Elvis Presley, Jacob Elordi was ready to give it all to gain weight for Presley’s physical appearance. With Austin Butler drinking melted ice cream every day, Jacob Elordi seemed to go one step further…by eating a pound of burned bacon every day.
When Jacob Elordi Ate A Pound of Bacon Every Day
Being a well-known actor, Elordi was cast in the role of legendary singer Elvis Presley. Based on the life of Priscilla and Elvis’ marriage, the 2023 film Priscilla was released. The film received rave reviews and Elordi was indeed praised for his performance. Something which he rightfully deserved.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the real-life Priscilla was talked about and the recently released movie. Recalling the old days, Priscilla Presley had once revealed how her husband really liked burned bacon. As the interview progressed, it was revealed that to prepare for his role, Jacob Elordi ate a pound of burnt bacon every day to bring realism to his portrayal!
“I ate a pound of bacon every day. It’s not that noticeable because I’m quite long but I was the biggest I have ever been,” said Elordi.
This is not the wildest thing since Austin Butler, who portrayed the role of Elvis Presley in the 2022 movie Elvis, also had to have some weight-gaining to do.

Austin Butler Felt Connected With Elvis Presley’s Spirit!
For his role, Austin Butler went to Graceland in Tennessee which is the final resting place of the iconic singer. Talking about how he wanted to feel the spirit of Presley rather than asking questions, Butler revealed to The Sun that Priscilla Presley took him to the place where she believed resided the spirit of Presley.
“She [Priscilla] took me over to Graceland and said, ‘This is where I believe his spirit is. Then I just got to spend the day in Graceland by myself and sort of sit in different rooms and think, ‘This is where they had Christmas’ and, ‘This is where he used to sit and eat breakfast’ and just humanize him.”
Both movies (Elvis and Priscilla) received mixed reviews. Elvis is available to stream on Prime Video while Priscilla is screening in select theatres in the U.S.
