Game of Thrones is certainly one of the biggest shows in the history of television and its influence can be seen even now in various mediums. It also launched the careers of many Hollywood stars, which especially includes Emilia Clarke. She also joined the MCU as part of the Secret Invasion series and now Clarke has criticized the same aspect of the MCU that Iman Vellani previously complained about.

Emilia Clarke was one of the biggest stars in Game of Thrones thanks to her role as Daenerys Targaryen, the mother of dragons. Obviously, she would find other work to do after Game of Thrones concluded but that remains her biggest work to date.

Emilia Clarke Complained About The Same Thing While Working For The MCU

As noted above, Emilia Clarke joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as part of the Secret Invasion series, where she portrayed the role of G’iah – a Scrull who absorbed the powers of 20+ heroes and villains from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Therefore, she is the strongest being in the whole universe right now.

While speaking during a recent interview, Emilia Clarke talked about her time working in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Unsurprisingly, she complained about the same thing that Iman Vellani did about the Marvel Cinematic Universe – the green screen and just how embarrassing it can get.

When the superheroes fly, when you’re filming it that’s what you do, when you’re standing there and then you gotta exit screen you’re like, ”Well actually I can’t fly I’m attached to the wires right now. So I’m just gonna have to do the dumbest thing ever and just look really mean and jump. The biggest anticlimactic moment. You do this build up, you do all this nasty talk and then just hop.’

According to Clarke, when portraying flying scenes, the reality is being attached to wires, and when it’s time to exit the screen, the dramatic action turns into a simple jump. Emilia Clarke described it as a build-up of intensity followed by a somewhat anticlimactic moment of just hopping. Regardless, fans weren’t happy about how her character was portrayed in Secret Invasion and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.

Iman Vellani Wants A Very Special Villain For Ms. Marvel Season 2

In an exclusive interview with The Direct, Iman Vellani shared her thoughts on what she would like to see in the second season of Ms. Marvel. The young star, who has a ton of knowledge when it comes to Marvel comics and related content, offered insights into her vision for the series.

She advocated for Doc.X, a sentient computer virus, as a villain in Ms. Marvel Season 2. Emphasizing that Doc.X aligns with the digital age, she believes it would resonate pretty well with the Gen Z audience.

Definitely Doc.X. I think that’s a great villain from the comics and can really resonate with the Gen Z audience. It would be so interesting—I don’t know, messing with kids’ psyche almost when you have this villain who only exists on your phone, and on your laptops, and on all your screens that we can’t avoid. I think it’d be  eally interesting position to put them all in to fight against something that you can’t even see, right? Yeah. Yeah, that’s one of my favorite comic storylines. So I would love to see that play out.

We will have to wait and see how the second season will be received in the end, whenever it releases. By the looks of it, fans might still have to wait a while before they can enjoy Iman Vellani’s wise-cracking humor again.
