Emma Watson’s Favorite Scene With Rupert Grint

In an interview featured in a magazine spread, Emma Watson unveiled her preferred scene shared with Grint, a standout moment occurring in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part 2. This pivotal sequence takes place amid the chaos of the battle at Hogwarts, where Hermione and Ron venture into the Chamber of Secrets in search of a vital item to aid in their mission to annihilate Voldemort’s Horcruxes.

“There’s the scene where we go off together to get the basilisk fang in Part 2 to destroy the Horcrux, and we go off on this adventure together,” Watson shared. “It’s kind of like a comedy act because it’s the first time you see Hermione and Ron like in tune. We’re usually so offbeat. We always are like going to miss each other and we kind of clash.”

Emma Watson And Rupert Grint Didn’t Like Kissing Each Other

A noteworthy point to consider is that Ron and Hermione’s escapade to the Chamber of Secrets also encompasses a scene that stands as one of Watson’s least preferred moments with Rupert Grint. Having shared their formative years on the set, Watson and Grint had cultivated a sibling-like bond, making the idea of a romantic kiss between them feel rather uncomfortable. Additionally, the weight of the scene’s significance weighed on them; after seven films, their characters gradually approached this pivotal moment. Despite these challenges, they summoned the resolve to temporarily set aside their unease and successfully film the kissing scene.
