The next chapter of Fortnite is right around the corner and the gaming community is beyond excited. The president of Epic Games did not waste any time and decided to join the hype train by teasing the player base with only one word that piqued the interest of hardcore players.
The game developers are known to take the live service project to exciting new heights with each chapter, and this one is no different. The live service structure is all the rage nowadays and Epic Games is leading the charge with no intention of losing their lead to the competition.
The Next Chapter of Fortnite Could Be the Best One Yet
Epic Games has consistently released quality content and reached the gaming community’s expectations in the previous chapters. Mark Rein is the vice president of Epic Games and subtly hinted at the addition of deadlier vehicles in Fortnite in Chapter 5 Season 3 through a post on X. Rein tried to do something similar for the upcoming season and used only one word to describe it.

The previous season was a mixed bag of emotions and not everyone was fond of the new additions. Other players claimed that the deadlier cars in Chapter 5 Season 3 were the perfect balance of toxic and fun gameplay, and it drove a wedge between the gaming community and the developers.
Some fans think Epic Games took it too far and this was the wrong approach and did not pan out the way the studio intended. The previous season delivered a high-octane and action-packed experience; however, it discouraged the player base from playing competitively since most new items were too broken and overpowered.
The Gaming Community Hopes Epic Games Will Do Better in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4
Rein described Chapter 5 Season 4 with ‘absolute’ which could mean many things. Perhaps this season will be a palette cleanser to bring back the former glory of the game and the developers will likely remove content that did not resonate well with the gaming community.
It has been rumored that the upcoming season of Fortnite will heavily feature another collaboration with Marvel. Chapter 2 Season 4 was arguably the strongest yet, fans are anticipating a return to that level of excitement and quality.
This crossover with Marvel will bring back the elements that made the game popular during that period and potentially restore the live service game’s respectable reputation.
Epic Games has always thrived on its collaborative nature, with few exceptions where things didn’t go as planned. Hopefully, the game developers will bounce back even stronger and make the necessary improvements in areas where they may have fallen short in the last season, chalking it up to experience.
