MAPPA Studios will premiere the Attack on Titan series finale next month. Titled the Final Chapters, the second special episode is going to conclude Hajime Isayama’s story but not without giving a farewell to its fanbase with an online after-party.
Attack on Titan aired its first episode in Japan in April 2013. Since then, the animation has had four seasons that divided the overall 139 manga chapters. The final season consists of four parts with the first having been released in 2020, the second in 2022, the third on March 2023, and the fourth part will be released in November 2023.
The third and fourth parts are one-hour special episodes. MAPPA has made sure to give a thrilling cinematic climax to the anime.
Attack on Titan Will Celebrate The Anime’s Ending In Epic Fashion
Fans can’t wait to see the conclusion to Eren Yeager’s story. Formerly the protagonist, the character transforms into a Founding Titan by the end of Season 4 Part 3. He is now levying his own form of justice by aiming to bring the Rumbling with Colossal Titans and cleanse the world of evil people, sparing only Paradis Island.
Eren seems to have dug his own grave (spoiler). While the highly-anticipated series finale is set to release on November 4, AoT has announced a shingeki party that will run from November 5 to November 8. The main cast, along with the MAPPA director, will feature in the online “official anime finale after party.”

MAPPA Studios Staff Spoke About Their Approach to Attack on Titan Season 4
The first three seasons of Attack on Titan were animated by Wit Studio. Responsible for popularising Spy x Family saga and the Vinland Saga, they did a magnificent job with Isayama’s work as well. However, a jarring shift in the animation studio for AoT in April 2023 caught fans off-guard.
Due to the escalating scale of the series, Wit Studios decided to hand over the responsibility for Season 4 to MAPPA Studios. The studio that brought Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen characters to life filled the shoes of Wit Studios perfectly after hustling for a seamless transition.
MAPPA staff noted in an interview with GamerBraves that they had to be “extra careful about reading the source material and watching the initial seasons so that the energy of the show wasn’t broken.” They had to understand the world and the manga lore before projecting it on the screen.
With massive fan hype backing the anime, Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 4 could break multiple records this November.
