He continues that if something happened to him his assistants would take over the popular series, and they would be responsible for the continuation of the manga, as he does not have “any responsibilities other than the manga.”

While Eiichiro Oda has not shared the ending of One Piece, he has shared what will be the ultimate fate of Monkey D. Luffy and his crewmates with his editors and assistants.
