However, it is important to remember that no matter how powerful a character is, they are not invincible. Interestingly enough, Victor Von Doom has been defeated by some very surprising people, ranging from Squirrel Girl to Iron Man, and even Luke Cage. Although, none of his losses have been as surprising as the one against Ant-Man.

Ant-Man: Death in the Family

Ant-Man, as a character, is not famous for his power. Although there is no denying that he is quite entertaining and fans adore the presence Paul Rudd brings onto the screen, he is taken as more of a comic relief than a powerhouse to save the day. With this in mind, many would be surprised to know that he has beaten Victor Von Doom in a fight in the most badass way possible.

The Fantastic Four Vol.2 16 was one of the most iconic issues from Marvel Comics for several reasons. The most memorable aspect of it has to be how Scott Lang went full John Wick on Doctor Doom after losing the most important thing in his life; his daughter.

Although fans have seen Doom get his hands dirty in the most grotesque ways possible, it is safe to say that the murder of Cassie Lang was something no one saw coming. After such a brutal mistake, Doom offered to right his wrong to Scott Lang, suggesting that he could bring her back from the dead.

However, the damage had been done, losses had been mourned, and Ant-Man wanted revenge.

Ant-Man Wiped the Floor With Doctor Doom

Wanting it to be a fair fight, Ant-Man offers to fight Doctor Doom with no powers and promises that he is going to rip his armor off and beat him within an inch of his life. To everyone’s surprise, Doom refuses and starts to attack Scott with his gauntlets—only for Lang to crush them with his bare hands.

As everyone stares in shock, Victor Von Doom included, Scott Lang absolutely destroys the man who murdered his daughter. He keeps his promise, breaking away pieces of his armor and beating him into a bloody pulp. He makes digs at the villain, calling him flawed and taking away any form of escape for him.

Winning a battle against Doom is no small feat, and it is safe to say that everyone was extremely surprised when this happened. Considering how the villain is coming into the MCU again, Marvel could execute a similar storyline at some point, showcasing just how dangerous Lang can be.
