When Ewan McGregor pranked his daughter

Ewan McGregor is as witty as he is charming. He possesses a good sense of humor, and he can also take a joke. Moreover, he has often pranked his co-stars as well.

This time around, Ewan McGregor turned his sights to his family, and his oldest daughter became the subject of his practical joke. Clara McGregor will not be forgetting this anytime soon.

She was at her parents’ home when it happened. McGregor was looking for a toothbrush, which she successfully found, but there was a catch. The toothbrush was encased in a lightsaber with a hilt pretty similar to the one that Kenobi wielded in the movies!

To make it even more hilarious, the lightsaber toothbrush came with a special feature, which allowed it to repeat Kenobi’s dialogue from Revenge of the Sith. Not just any dialogue, though; it is the one that the Jedi master tells his padawan, Anakin Skywalker, “Goodbye old friend, may the force be with you.”

Clara McGregor recorded the ridiculous prank and shared it on social media. She hilariously added a note to herself to not rely on her parents to have extra toothbrushes at home.

Who is Clara McGregor?

Clara McGregor is the oldest daughter of Scottish actor Ewan McGregor. She followed in her father’s footsteps and is an actress, trying to make a name for herself in the film industry.

McGregor did not always want to become an actress, though. She wanted to find her footing in the world and choose her own destiny. However, she found her calling in acting after doing some modeling shoots.

Ewan McGregor and his oldest daughter have acted together previously. Their first film together was the crime thriller Birthday Cake, and they are set to collaborate once again on Bleeding Love.

Working with her father was a special experience for her. “It’s rare as an adult that you get to spend that amount of time with your parents, so that was really special. I’d always admired my dad as an actor and getting to act with him showed me how good he is at what he does,” she said (via People).

Ewan McGregor is a well-respected actor and a good father, too. His relationship with his children is a testament to this fact.
