Emma Stone Called Out Andrew Garfield For Lying

Andrew Garfield managed to keep his special appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home, not only from the media but also from his ex-girlfriend, Emma Stone. While talking to the host of the Happy Sad Confused podcast, he shared that Stone was curious and asked him if he was in No Way Home.

He said that the La La Land actress was persistent in knowing about it and would ask him constantly, “Shut up. Just tell me.” However, he denied it, saying that he had no idea what she was talking about. And when she finally saw the film, she was furious over him for not telling her about it.

The Breathe shared that Stone called him a “jerk” for lying to her about his appearance. “She was like, ‘You’re a jerk,’” the Mainstream star shared. The actor recently shared in an interview that he “didn’t really think much” about getting the role after his audition and only took it seriously after getting a call for a screen test.

He also shared that he met his Spider-Man co-star during a screen test and felt an immediate connection with her. Garfield said that he always tried to “stay with her, keep pace with her, and not let her get away.” However, they broke things off in 2015 and have been good friends since then.
