The actor further explained that in recent years, police brutality and related issues have gained public attention, and this is why the film Cobra, which was based on policing units, would be super relevant.
Fans of the original film, are super excited to see the TV show avatar of the project. However, it isn’t clear whether Stallone himself would be in the show or not. “That [conceit] was, ‘What if Bruce Springsteen had a gun?’ That was rock n’ roll meets drama. That should have been another franchise because that character was so cool. And I blew it. My personal life got in the way. But we’re trying to bring it back as a streaming TV series. Bring out the zombie squad. I’m long gone, but the idea is really good.”
George P. Cosmatos-directed film Cobra starring Sylvester Stallone, received critical acclaim, and the actor has often said that it is one of the best films of his career. It would be a star-studded affair if he revived his classic film in the form of a television show.
