When one Twitter user pointed out why Indiana Jones 5 would not be a good film, the director was quick to respond. The user claimed that the film might not be as good as fans expect it to be because Stephen Spielberg is not directing the film, Harrison Ford is 78 years old, and Jonathan Kasdan is the writer of the film.

Mangold called out the user saying, “Keep making the world a better place crapping on things in the 1st week of production from your basement.” He further added that Jonathan Kasdan is not the writer of the film and that having talents like Spielberg and Ford can never be bad for the film. The director’s behavior has also raised fans’ concerns over the film.
