Fandango recently surveyed 8,000 people to find out the most anticipated film of 2024. After the survey, a list of the top 10 most anticipated movies of 2024 was released and Marvel Studios officially took the first spot as Deadpool 3 is the most anticipated 2024 movie, according to the list. Without a doubt, there is a lot of excitement about the film, mainly because of actor Hugh Jackman’s return as Wolverine.
The second spot was secured by Beetlejuice 2, a sequel to 1988’s Beetlejuice. The fourth installment in the Ghostbusters franchise, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, took the third spot. Shockingly, Dune 2 couldn’t reach the top 3 and managed to secure the fourth spot.
Deadpool 3 is the most anticipated film of 2024
After surveying 8,000 people, Fandango has released a list of the top 10 most anticipated movies of 2024. As per this list, Deadpool 3 is the most anticipated movie of 2024 (via DiscussingFilm):

The first two Deadpool movies were blockbuster hits and once again, the third film is also expected to be a massive success, especially with actor Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine in the movie. Many leaked images from the sets have surfaced online but fans won’t have to wait for a long time as Deadpool 3 is scheduled to be released in the United States on July 26, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
Dune 2 couldn’t reach the top 3
For the fans, one of the most shocking things about this list is the fact that Dune 2 didn’t even reach the top 3. 2021’s Dune was well-received by the fans and proved to be a financial success, however, it seems like the franchise’s popularity has declined. The second part of Dune, which is the second of a two-part adaptation of the 1965 novel Dune by Frank Herbert, is set to be released on March 1, 2024, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
Apart from this, Fandango also conducted a survey to find out the most anticipated new performances on the big screen and Lady Gaga took the top spot as fans are excited to see her as Harley Quinn in Joker: Folie à Deux.
