Marvel Adds An Untitled Movie in the MCU Lineup to Release on September 6, 2024

Marvel has recently moved an untitled film from February 16, 2024, to September 6, 2024. The movie comes after Thunderbolts and two months before the release of Fantastic Four. Earlier, Fantastic Four was set to kick off phase 6 of the MCU.

With the new addition, fans are questioning whether Fantastic Four would still kick off phase 6. The name of the film is not released yet. But fans seem to have an idea about which movie may be joining the MCU on September 6, 2024.

If the film concludes phase 5, then Matt Shakman’s Fantastic Four would still be the first film of phase 6. The lineup could have been interrupted due to the delay in the Fantastic Four filming.

Marvel Studios has not revealed any details about the film except its release date and that Matt Shakman is directing it. Details about the cast of the film and when it will start production are still under wraps.

Which Movie is This Untitled Addition?

So far, the untitled film is expected to be Deadpool 3. Fans are expecting Deadpool 3 to kick off phase 6 of the MCU. However, one question is, if Marvel was planning it all along, why did they not announce it at D23 Expo? As Marvel has the rights to the character, Deadpool may make his MCU debut with his next film in phase 5 or phase 6.
