These changes include two different protagonists, one of which has already faced a fair share of hate and dissatisfaction from fans of the series. Now, a new leaked video reveals that Yasuke lament is far from over as Ubisoft opts for something that was never previously seen in the franchise.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Yasuke is Not Stealthy At All As Ubisoft Removes Hood

As if there isn’t enough controversy surrounding Yasuke, a tall Japanese Samurai of African descent, the recent video reveals that Yasuke won’t wear a hoodie.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be the first time ever in the history of the franchise to do this since every assassin is known for their iconic hooded robe. Some of the best designs have been translated into popular merchandise and are seen at different festivals as cosplays.

The build-up to previous games also included how robes would look like and what the protagonists hid in them. Remember the legendary Ezio robe and hoodie, while Connor wasn’t a likable character, it can’t be denied that his design has outmatched almost every other protagonist.

Without the signature Assasson’s Creed hoodie, is he truly an assassin? While Naoe is the stealthy one in. Fans don’t have words of praise for Ubisoft after this decision was made public, and have lost all hope for Yasuke.

Fans lamenting over the latest Yasuke’s fashion choice or lack thereof desired something similar to a Ghost of Tsushima type of outfit for their assassin.

The decision hits harder as players realize there will be no legacy outfits for Yasuke as well.

More fans are addressing the problem with one in particular saying that it is strange for an assassin to not wear a hoodie.

Another one added a sarcastic feel to it by saying that his dreads are what makes him a compelling character and that a hip-hop soundtrack will start playing when he is in action.

Ubisoft is known for changing the gaming world many times in the past. However, it seems like they can’t keep up with the industry these days and every decision feels a tad more controversial than the previous one.

This is sparking rage and dissatisfaction within the community daily and it is obvious that Assassin’s Creed Shadows won’t change that.

Whether this decision will be overturned with fans’ strong opinion on Yasuke not being able to wear a hoodie remains to be seen on the release date of the Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
