The Walt Disney Company has recently updated us on some of the highly-anticipated attractions.

It is the toughest time running for the theme park industry. Their footfall trajectory took a massive fall after the global pandemic and business depleted. However, with the theme parks now reopening, Disney World is looking forward to the next big thing. Brace yourself as the most magical place on earth is getting more magical!  One of their most exciting plans on board is the Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser.

Walt Disney World News revealed two genuine photographs of a compact, modular room consisting of one queen-size bed plus two bunked singles, carved into padded pods in the wall. While Galactic Starcruiser is still under construction, Disney is set to start accepting reservations for it as the attraction is set to open in 2021, later this year. Previously revealed was only the concept art which gave the fans a hint of what they would see, but these are scale recreations of the real thing, and they look pretty sick. Take a look below

Experience the luxury of the Starcruiser on a queen size bed with themed bedding and two padded bunk bed “pods” along the wall. WDWNT’s report did not specify the size of the pods, but they appear to be fitted for children. If you check out the image below, shot from the bunk bed position, you see what you’ll be able to look out and see from your stateroom.

Each cabin aboard the Starcruiser will give the guests a view of the galaxy beyond, with ever-changing vistas as the ship progresses from place to place. They also get the luxury of a screen mounted to the wall of the cabin showing the ship’s current trajectory (and may as well work as a TV.) Against the wall, a table pulls out from a pocket, with futuristic stools to sit on beneath it—these cabins seem compact, but perfectly set up for space travel.

The concept art which was revealed to us earlier even suggests the possibilities of storage space for luggage under the bed and a futuristic bedside lamp.
The rooms are set to come in two sizes. A regular-sized cabin, and a larger “Captain’s Quarters” cabin. Each floor is set to have 32 regular cabins and two first-class cabins.

The rooms for the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, where you go on a 2-day, 2-night experience that includes a trip to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios won’t have cheap reservations
It’s pretty obvious that building anything as big as a hotel, or a cruise ship, is a huge task that takes a lot of time, and while Disney certainly has a schedule and an expectation of when the Galactic Starcruiser will open to the public, that date has not been announced to the public yet. The only thing that is known so far is that the Galactic Starcruiser will open sometime in 2021.
