Helldivers 2 was a pleasant surprise from Arrowhead Game Studios and Sony Interactive Entertainment. The gaming community immediately fell in love with the fun combat and futuristic nature then pledged their undying fidelity and allegiance to fight for the freedom of the people of Super Earth against hostile alien forces.
The game developers are well aware of the requirements of a live service game to remain relevant in the eyes of the community. The constant need to incorporate new ideas and concepts to spice up the gaming experience can be daunting; however, the developers’ latest additions may be their best.
The Helldivers 2 Player Base Is Not Looking Forward to Face a New Deadly Enemy
The developers of Arrowhead Game Studios have a lot to answer for after the recent bugs and performance issues found in the game after the most recent update. The recent Helldivers 2 patch made certain enemies behave uncharacteristically than they should be adding another headache to the player base and a reason not to dive in and suffer from technical instability.
Enemy variety is essential in an online multiplayer game to avoid players feeling bored and noticing its repetitiveness. Whispers of a new variant of the Automatons are being spread and the design is much more terrifying than expected. The remaining players are not looking forward to the day these death machines are deployed in the game and give them a run for their money.
Hopefully, these new enemies will be well-balanced to avoid another situation where the gaming community expresses their disdain for being too overpowered. The game is not in the best place as of late and it would be wise for the developers not to give the remaining players a reason to turn their backs on the game and forsake all their efforts during the Second Galactic War.
The character design looks menacing and one could anticipate their destructive capabilities. The daily active player count is dwindling gradually and the community is fed up with all the inconsistencies and issues as they willingly allow enemy factions to retake hard-fought territories to show their dismay with the game’s poor performance on various platforms.
Players are not eager to be destroyed in a game that is not up to standard. Hopefully, these new enemies will encourage players to dive back and see the changes made by the developers as they laid out a 60-day plan to improve the game.
The New Automatons Are a Much More Terrifying Version of Decepticons From Transformers
The consensus about these new enemies is already negative and players are not judging their efficiency in the field but by their appearance. Players will most likely struggle during their first encounter with these new war machines and contemplate fighting or quitting.
New enemies present new challenges and could be what the developers need to win back the community. No game is perfect and developers are doing whatever they can to keep their head above water amidst the fierce competition and criticism.
The player base should take a chance and observe whether they are a good addition or another mistake. Hopefully, this new enemy variety will be the start of the studio’s redemption.
The Helldivers 2 community is not to be trifled with; however, fans will not cower behind valid criticism. Perhaps the new Automatons will give them something too entertaining to fight as the game recovers slowly.
