Fans got a first glimpse of the production of Marvel’s Thunderbolts* after Florence Pugh posted a behind-the-scenes video on her social media. The BTS video was a welcome move from Pugh, as it helped fans regain confidence in the film after its several production issues. However, the video also allegedly spoiled one of the major plotlines of the film as Pugh unintentionally showed a structure behind her during the set tour.

After the promotional tours for Dune: Part Two, Florence Pugh joined the sets of Thunderbolts* in Atlanta. The filming was significantly delayed due to the strikes and the extensive rewriting of the film’s script. One of the other major highlights of the new update from Pugh was the addition of an asterisk to the title.

After two acclaimed projects to her name, Florence Pugh is back in the Marvel den, filming for the upcoming film Thunderbolts*. In a recent video uploaded to her Instagram, Pugh took fans for a set tour of the film, but without revealing too many details about the premise. However, it appears that Pugh accidentally gave away a major spoiler from the film.

The first thing fans noticed in the video was Pugh’s upgraded combat-ready suit and her short-cut hair. She then moves from her caravan to her studio set, sharing on the way that she was whisked off to Atlanta to film the movie, which she was not supposed to talk about. While showing a sneak peek of the set, the Oppenheimer actress introduced fans to a large container on set.

Even casual fans, who have been following the MCU, are likely to recognize this large set prop as having something to do with the Sentry. Pugh may have shown fans the container where the anti-hero team, or anyone else for that matter, finds the super-powerful entity, the Sentry. Top Gun: Maverick star Lewis Pullman recently joined the film, reportedly in the role of Sentry.

The Midsommar actress’s video probably confirms the Sentry storyline, thus making it one of the earliest set leaks from the movie. Director Jake Schreier jokingly warned Pugh that she wasn’t supposed to be filming the set, to which Pugh responds, “Someone is going to come rugby-tackle me.” However, fans are generally happy with Pugh’s video, with some even commenting that she’s the only marketing tactic that the movie needs.

In Marvel’s Thunderbolts*, the team of anti-heroes is on a government-approved mission, headed by CIA director Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The team consists of Red Guardian (David Harbour), Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen), Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), John Walker (Wyatt Russell), and Taskmaster (Olga Kurylenko).

The most recent discussion around the project was about the replacement of two cast members. Beef star Steven Yeun pulled out of the role of Sentry and was replaced by Lewis Pullman. The Bear star Ayo Edebiri also backed out from the movie, replaced by Hala fame Geraldine Viswanathan. It is also confirmed that Harrison Ford will place the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the film.
