Since then, minor updates have been arousing fans’ attention but film executive producer, Brian Chapek throws light on the nature of Thunderbolts. “In creating a more grounded, globe-trotting film, it was important that we place our characters in as many practical locations as possible.”

Along with that, it is clear that the film is ready for production which will be filmed in Utah this Summer. As to why the studio decided to film in Utah, the executive explained,

“We looked at many options and found that Utah featured such a unique and impressive geography that we hadn’t seen before in a movie. The Utah locations we scouted felt untouched by the larger world, which made us very excited to shoot there.”

Given that Captain AmericaThe Winter Soldier has already been dealt with practicality with a sense of the real world, it would be a delight for fans to see the iconic anti-heroes team who will be the new team apart from Avengers to be a part of the upcoming adventures.

Marvel’s Thunderbolts being filled with morally grey characters is the reason why the film is going for a “grounded” tone. They are often regarded as ‘Dark Avengers’ who consist mostly of reformed supervillains. The team’s history in the canon is quite complex which simply means that their live adaptation has options to explore their adventures.

Till now, the cast consists of Julia Louis Dreyfus’s Countess Valentina, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Taskmaster played by Olga Kurylenko, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier and Wyatt Russell as U.S. Agent.

It is among the four MCU movies released in 2024 alongside Captain America: New World Order, Blade, and Deadpool 3. Jake Schrier is set to direct the film which is currently slated to release on July 26th, 2024.
