There have been villains that wreak havoc and those that spread fear in their wake. All sorts of heroes and villains have been introduced through the series but one that stands strikingly in the spotlight is Orochimaru. With all that he has done, it was certain that he would leave a mark on the fans. However, it was one fight sequence between him and Tsunade that truly was everything to them.

Orochimaru vs. Tsunade Steals the Show

During Orochimaru’s attack at Konohagakure, the Hokage rose to the occasion, bringing in their best to fight against the antagonist. The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi used the Reaper Death Seal Jutsu on him to seal away his arms, making it impossible for him to use them. Not only was he able to cut off his soul’s arms but also those of his original body. This made his ability to use Jutsus completely useless.

Seeing how he was unable to function at his full capacity, Tsunade takes the opportunity to instead start attacking him non-stop. Due to his inability to use his arms, Orochimaru has no option but to take every hit that comes his way. In his lack of response, the Hokage take full advantage to completely and ruthlessly attack him.

They had him cornered in every way possible. To those who wouldn’t know of the horrific deeds committed by Orochimaru, it would almost feel like an unfair fight, pitying the villain in all his faded glory for that moment.

However, the way Tsunade beat him with no remorse was something Naruto fans still count as one of the best scenes of the series.

Masashi Kishimoto has always had an interesting style of showcasing fight sequences. Using methods often seen in Jackie Chan’s own films, he incorporates the idea of emphasis on power over the person using that power. This helps improve fight sequences in many ways. Orochimaru and the Fifth Hokage’s fight sequence is certainly one that stands out for Naruto fans.

Despite the overbearing nature of the fight, no fan disagrees with the fact that Orochimaru deserved every punch and uppercut that came his way. In fact, they sit back and enjoy as the character finally gets what he most definitely should have gotten from the very beginning of the introduction.

Moreover, fans are rooting for the Hokage and Tsunade, watching as Orochimaru gets thrashed and beaten to a pulp with nothing and nobody to help him. He can do nothing but take everything much to every fan’s pleasure.
