Keanu Reeves for a long time has been a fan favorite cast in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While most fans have wanted him to succeed Nicolas Cage as the Ghost Rider in the MCU, another wild cast has had him pit against Kang the Conqueror as one of the most brutal and powerful villains in the Marvel universe, the Beyonder.
If Marvel was to actually bring Beyonder to the big screen, Reeves could be the perfect choice seeing his acting prowess and physical capabilities. Furthermore, he would be the most formidable villain in all of MCU’s history, greater and stronger than Kang.
Fans Pitch Keanu Reeves As One of The Greatest Marvel Villians
Keanu Reeves is counted among Hollywood’s most famous actors, and for long Marvel fans have wanted him to step into the world of superheroes as well. Despite his earlier revelation of succeeding Ghost Rider (via Jimmy Kimmel Live), fans have expressed the desire to have him star as Marvel’s one of the greatest and most powerful cosmic entities, the Beyonder.
The Beyonder is a member of the infamous Beyonder race and possesses powers that transcend the multiverse. An extremely unique and enigmatic character, he fits right into the category of roles that Reeves loves to do.
Seeing his exceptional acting prowess and physical capabilities in movies like The Matrix and John Wick, it is a no-brainer that the actor would in fact make up a pretty good version of Beyonder. While the perfection would certainly depend upon the script and storyline, Reevs’ ability to add his own spice to his characters can certainly make his version more memorable.
While there has been no news of Beyonder being introduced, there are chances he might be in Avengers: Secret Wars for it was he who started Battleworld and facilitated Secret Wars (via Marvel). If this is to actually take place, Jonathan Majors‘ Kang would be nothing compared to Beyonder.
Why Beyonder is Stronger Than Kang The Conqueror
The Beyinder is a cosmic being unlike any other. The pre-retcon, original Beyonder possesses powers beyond human capabilities. His powers include reshaping realities and even surpassing cosmic entities when it comes to his powers.
Not only can he teleport, but he also has limitless power when it comes to telepathy, altering reality on a sub-atomic level, and possesses superhuman strength unlike any other. Even having the ability to change his appearance, he is no match for Kang whose main power is his extremely high IQ.
While Kang is an incredible strategist who possesses advanced technology and is an expert at time travel and time manipulation, he would be nothing without his tech in front of Beyonder. Ever the post-retcon Beyonder, who has lost many of his powers after multiple retcons, still remains many times more powerful than Kang the Conqueror.
