Last year, NetherRealm Studios released Mortal Kombat 1, resetting the entire story from the beginning with a new origin. Now, the studio will bring back a character who has previously appeared in the game through a prior collaboration.
Spawn will return to this franchise, but not in the main game; instead, he will be a playable character in the mobile version.
