Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 will start in a few days and the gaming community has already caught a glimpse of an unlikely character appearing in the game. Magneto is officially part of the next battle pass and his appearance is inspired by Disney+ and Marvel Animation’s X-Men 97.
Fans are delighted that the Master of Magnetism is getting his due and Epic Games is wise enough to collaborate with Marvel to feature the mutants. Perhaps more of his kind will be making an appearance throughout the chapter and will make fans and players equally happy.
Magneto Is Officially Part of the Next Battle Pass in Fortnite
It wasn’t long ago when leaks were making their way out of the woodwork that involved Epic Games collaborating with Marvel and featuring characters from the animated series. Given the success and popularity of the franchise, it was only fitting to have one of their leaders join the ranks in the battle pass.

The wonderful key art also has a dystopian kind of feel and players can use mounted machine guns on vehicles. Perhaps this could be what the Vice President of Epic Games was subtly hinting at a few days ago regarding a fan suggestion that involves the in-game vehicles.

With the inclusion of the Master of Magnetism, there is a possibility that a new mythic item or ability will come along with him. The mutants have already had experience with dystopian futures in the source material and it is a perfect opportunity to blend this franchise with the Mad Max series in the game.
Developers are rumored to be working on a new feature that would allow players to hijack the vehicles of opponents which will elevate the gameplay. Marvel characters are slowly becoming more relevant in the live service game. Perhaps the gaming community should learn to expect more collaborations that would feature iconic heroes and heroines shortly.
Fortnite Players Are Beyond Excited for the Newest Season
Epic Games has a lot more in store for this partnership with Marvel. Other characters like Loki and Sylvie from the popular Disney+ series Loki are set to appear as purchasable cosmetic items in the item shop. Only time will tell how many more characters of that universe will appear in the game.
The gaming community will never tire of the developers’ creativity and collaborative nature. The animated series ended its first season last week, this will be the perfect alternative. Players will undoubtedly go out of their way to immediately purchase the next battle pass and flaunt their new shiny skins in battle.
