Some would argue that the game peaked after the first collaboration with Marvel during Chapter 2 Season 4: Nexus War and fans have been begging the game developers for another one since then.
Given the impact and influence of recent Marvel projects across different mediums, it would be wise to listen to the gaming community for once and reap the benefits of this suggestion.
Usually, the developers will wait for a while before making changes and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the new double micro-submachine guns were the first of many nerfs for new Fortnite meta.
Epic Games wants to emphasize heavily that this season will be unlike any other and will go larger and bolder by integrating the Devourer of Worlds as Galactus slowly emerges from the map.
Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 Is a Treasure Trove of New and Overpowered Weapons
The previous season was full of overpowered Fortnite weapons in spades. Players were unsatisfied with the insane firepower packed in with the vehicles and fans were explicit about their disdain and wanted nothing to do with them in the next season.
This is an opportunity for Epic Games to bounce back and learn from its mistakes. However, solving one problem often leads to another can of worms but this can be easily tweaked in a patch or two, unlike the cars that were never formally nerfed or addressed.
Players queued in the first few matches will likely experience how broken most of these new weapons are and it could make or break this season. Hopefully, this season will capture the same lightning of success from Chapter 2 Season 4 and avoid repeating the mistakes of Chapter 5 Season 3.
It was inevitable for players to discover broken weapons. The game developers should look out for complaints and get ahead before the situation gets out of hand.
