It is no secret that the live service game is getting an unlimited supply of support from the developers and the latest season is the peak of their creativity. The future of the game is looking bright especially if the player count is steadily increasing towards the end of the season.
Fortnite Players Were Able to Crack the Code of the Sandstorm
Despite being in the background of the map, players have noticed something strange about the sandstorm. The lights that are being emitted from beyond the storm appear to be speaking in code and the players can decipher it the message is both creepy and exciting.
The small light in the sandstorm is apparently speaking in Morse Code… 😳

The coded message translates to no hope, and what that means remains unclear which became the start of a new phase of guessing and speculation. All bets are off for this new setup that Epic Games is planting under the noses of players and the developers started behaving a little differently in the past few days and shared an image that could be hinting at an alien invasion.
Perhaps these are all unrelated and could be a build-up for the season finale that is coming in the following days. Players are still trying to figure out what the sandstorm meant by no hope and it might be a new threat for them to face in the future. Conspiracy theorists and their tin foil helmets are all welcome to take a jab at what the developers are trying to tell the community.
Epic Games Is Planning on Something Massive for Fortnite
There is no telling what the sandstorm is trying to say, perhaps it is a sign or a warning or it could just be a simple easter egg that the developers added in there and thought no one would notice. Regardless, it could be nothing or it could be something and the gaming community will not rest until the mystery is solved.
Maybe it is a teaser for a future collaboration with Marvel, the official page already but confirmed the imminent arrival of new content that is connected to the Loki series. It could be the soft launch of an upcoming mini-event that will involve the multiverse and something from beyond will wreak havoc on the island.
The possibilities are endless and this is the fun of speculating and guessing, it is a good method to generate new ideas that could later be manifested and realized in the game. The sandstorm could be trying to warn players of another doomsday-type event that could decimate the map.
The sandstorm could only be the beginning and players are going to be more vigilant moving forward and looking for more signs that can be deciphered. Epic Games may have underestimated the player and their knowledge of Morse Code.
