Epic Games has been reaping the benefits of its game for years and it inflated the ego of its players. Some fans have grown tired of how the developers approach each new season, deviating away from improving the competitive landscape, the developers are trying their best to appeal to the casual Fortnite players.

The majority of the player base is interested because of the multiplayer aspect and if the developers fail to address this issue, it will only be a matter of time before the population drops. These players became shrouded and developed an elitist mindset which is the wrong way to view other games like Red Dead Redemption 2.

Both of the games involved are wildly different in content and structure, Despite these differences, a healthy amount of players continue to support these two successful projects but it painted one community in a negative light after bashing the pacing of the Western project of Rockstar Games.

The opening chapters were slow on purpose and the developers wanted to give the players enough space to figure out the new game mechanics that were not present in the original game. The prequel was so detailed that the fans wished the protagonist of the next Rockstar Games project would also carry a journal or anything to add some depth and expand the lore further.

The game industry has grown and can cater to different audiences. There are a plethora of options for those interested in a great single-player experience and for those who are in it to win it against fellow players.

Comparing games is a complete waste of time. Single-player games feel like long interactive movies where a player’s hand is being held rather than taking part in the story, but these games could evoke genuine and wholesome emotions that couldn’t be made by multiplayer games.

There is nothing wrong with friendly competition but the line is drawn when these people believe their game is much better than others. It is the wrong mindset and will stir up some unnecessary controversy.

The gameplay and mechanics of the Western title may be far more complicated than what Epic Games had in store, but the developers designed each game with a specific audience in mind. Enjoy games for what they are and not as players like them to be.
