Fortnite Season 5 is a hot topic of discussion in the Fortnite community as the current Last Resort season might end soon. There have been several leaks and rumors about the next season and what it might entail including that it might take players back to Chapter 1 with maps and weapons from previous seasons.
It’s not yet officially confirmed when exactly Fortnite Season 5 will start but according to the Epic Games website and the in-game Battle Pass screen Season 4 Battle Pass ends on November 4, 2023, and Season 5 might start, but there is still time before it’s confirmed. However, Fortnite Season 5 may not only bring previous maps and weapons but also some rare skins.
Fortnite Season 5 Might Bring Some Rare Skins
Fortnite has had some amazing skins and it’s often the rarest skins that players want to get their hands on but it’s not so easy as these are locked behind Battle Pass. Some skins are only available with Battle Pass for a short while and players can not obtain them after some time, therefore, they become rare.
These rare skins are only owned by a small number of players and some of the rare skins haven’t returned since the inception of the battle royale and eventually, they become very rare to obtain. However, there is a possibility that Fortnite Season 5 might bring some of the rarest skins, especially two popular ones that haven’t been seen in Battle Pass.
The two rarest skins that players could see in Fortnite next season are Renegade Raider and the Aerial Assault Trooper. The first season of Fortnite Battle Royale was the shortest season ever and lasted only over a month. Season one also did not have a Battle Pass as it was only introduced in Season 2 and the Season Shop was introduced in its place.
The Season Shop in Fortnite brought four cosmetic items and to unlock them players needed V-Bucks, the in-game currency of Fortnite. The items included Renegade Raider, one of the most popular skins, and the other outfit, Aerial Assault Trooper. Players had to reach level 20 and spend 1,200 V-Bucks to unlock Renegade Raider and reach level 15 and spend 1,200 V-Bucks to unlock Aerial Assault Trooper.
These two skins are considered very valuable and players are often looking to get them since they couldn’t get it in the first season simply because many did not start playing when the skins were available. However, players might finally be able to get these skins in Fortnite Season 5 as it will reportedly focus on Chapter 1. Epic Games has already clarified that Battle Pass items will not return to the game but since these cosmetics were in Season Shop, they might finally be back.
But that’s not all as there are also rumors that the fan-favorite Zero Build mode will also be back with next season but there will be several changes made to the map. A few leaks report that Fortnite Season 5 could last just for a month and will feature different seasons of Chapter 1 per week, however, nothing has been confirmed so far.
The weapons and original loot from Chapter 1 will also return to the game next season. The old weapons will have the same models from Chapter 1 and take players back in time. There is only a a week left before the current season ends so it will be soon known what will Fortnite Season 5 bring.
Fortnite is currently celebrating the spooky season with the Fortnitemares 2023 event with new quests, rewards, skins, and so much more. There are also new weapons unvaulted including the Wood Stake Shotgun and several new enemies, locations, and NPCs are added to the map with the event.
