The developers had no problems in the past about changing the aesthetics of a location. Some fans have grown tired of the Greek-inspired biomes believing they overstayed their welcome and should be replaced with something more appealing and connected to the collaboration.

Mark Rein, the Vice President of Epic Games, teased that the latest season of Fortnite with the word ‘absolute’ which was later revealed to be Absolute Doom in honor of the iconic villain’s arrival with the rest of the Marvel universe.

Many in the gaming community were blown away given the positive feedback the title received with the earlier Marvel collaboration.

It was a no-brainer and inevitable for Epic Games to host another crossover and make the necessary changes in the map to keep up with the theme; however, players have noticed some biomes last longer than most which is unfortunate.

All eyes were on the D23 Expo and players were surprised to see Disney take an interest in gaming and reveal a boatload of new content. Cosmetic items inspired by certain characters are expected to drop in the in-game item shop and there is a strong possibility of establishing a permanent tab in the game.

Fans expected to see iconic locations and points of interest get significant overhauls to fit in with the new season.

Despite the dominance of Doctor Doom and his compatriots across the map, the remains of the Greek-inspired era remain and are slowly becoming an eyesore for the community, which implores the game developers to move on from that phase.

The developers should also prioritize the map and not just the cosmetic items. Recent reports suggest that the following days will be exciting for anime and Marvel fans with back-to-back drops of outfits inspired by characters from Dragon Ball and X-Men.

The game will likely benefit if biomes are renamed with locations from the Marvel universe and given a significant makeover. It would be best if all items and aesthetics inspired by the Greek era were removed to make room for new points of interest and visual appeal.

The gaming community has been looking forward to a new Fortnite Marvel collaboration since Chapter 2 Season 4 and this could redeem the developers for the last season’s shortcomings.

There is no telling how different the map will look once the season kicks in. Hopefully, the developers will listen to the fans in this regard.
