We’ve seen Fortnite collaborate with some of the bizarre franchises at this point, yet Epic Games manages to surprise us every time. However, one of the most requested crossovers that we’re yet to see in the game is Five Night At Freddy‘s (FNAF). It’s been rumored several times over the last year. It’s a popular request, and based on recent leaks, it seems like Epic Games won’t ever let down its player base.
A few days ago, the team at ScottGames revealed that they’d be honoring FNAF‘s tenth anniversary with a week filled with exciting reveals right up to August 8th. The team also gave us a look at the full schedule for the week, outlining several major projects, including the release of new games and demos related to the franchise.
However, they gave us a massive surprise with an August 6th label that says “??? Collab Announcement”. Many in the community have compared the schedule with the already-known downtimes hitting Fortnite in August.
It’s crucial to keep in mind that this is pure speculation. Just because dates happen to align doesn’t mean the crossover is definitely happening. After all, there are various other franchises the FNAF series could collaborate with, such as Dead by Daylight. For now, it’s better to wait and keep our expectations in check while getting hyped for all the other exciting Five Nights at Freddy’s content debuting in August!

These initials alone are what led Fortnite players to believe that the two fan-favorite games would be coming together soon. However, this was over three years ago, and nothing has happened since. Although many still hope for a collaboration, others have lost all hope.
The two games’ massive communities have blended well together so far. There are hundreds of Creative Island maps centered around Five Nights at Freddy’s themes, and they are the most popular games in Fortnite Creative.
