Despite being hurt and used by Alan, Melissa does not lose her good nature and maintains a sense of independence, which makes her character even more compelling.

Kelly Stables’ Melissa is one of the most well-written and well-developed characters of Two and a Half Men but gets overlooked and subdued by the charm and appeal of other characters. As fans appreciate Melissa and the way she was written, Kelly Stables’ portrayal of Melissa also deserves equal recognition. Adding a naturally refreshing and multi-dimensional element to Two and a Half Men character, Stables was one of the best actors in the show. Her character’s growth, humor, and unique traits further make her stand out as one of the most well-written characters in the series, who deserves equal attention as the rest of the characters, if not more.
