The WWE Hall of Fame has inducted many personalities who were in the WWE and wrestling industries and beyond. It began in 1993 with André the Giant being its sole inductee, after he passed away a few months earlier. More than 200 inductees have been added to the Hall of Fame since then, with many two-time inductees included as well.

Apart from WWE superstars, the Hall is known to have inducted many celebrities who have supported the promotion as well. Be it politicians, singers, or baseball players, everyone has a spot in the ‘celebrity wing’ of the promotion. Here are ten of the fourteen celebrities that have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

1. Arnold Schwarzenegger

The action star of the ‘80s, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been associated with the WWE for a long time as he was good friends with wrestler Bruno Sammartino. The actor also reportedly starred along with WWE star Jesse ‘The Body ‘ Ventura in two films, including Predator and The Running Man. The Terminator star reportedly made his first appearance in 1999, where he was handed the WWE World Box Office Championship.

He also reportedly traded blows with Triple H in the ring. He would later make an appearance in 2014 to promote the film Sabotage along with Joe Manganiello. The actor was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015 (via WWE).

2. Snoop Dogg

Legendary hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2016. Dogg is known for his iconic songs such as Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang with Dr. Dre. The Next Episode rapper reportedly had his first appearance in WrestleMania 24 where he was the Master of Ceremonies. The rapper introduced many of the wrestlers in his signature style and reportedly even stepped on the ring and gave a clothesline punch to Santino Marella as the latter confronted his ex-girlfriend Maria. Dogg returned to WWE Raw in 2009, where he reportedly traded blows with Chavo Guerrero and protected Hornswaggle. The rapper has also made more such appearances (via WWE).

3. Mike Tyson

One of the few celebrities in the wing who actually got to fight in the ring, boxing legend Mike Tyson began his WWE journey as a ‘special enforcer’ for Shawn Michaels and Triple H’s D-Generation X. The iconic boxer was known for his lightening speed and ferocity in the ring and reportedly won his first nineteen matches via knockout, with twelve of them in the very first round.

The superstar had a great tenure at the promotion where he tarded blows with multiple superstars. He even returned to the ring in 2010 as a guest host for Raw and battled his former teammates Triple H and HBK while teaming up with Chris Jericho.

The rap-rock legend Kid Rock has given many iconic performances in the WWE, making him a great inductee into the Hall of Fame. The artist is known for his fusion of rap and rock after which he slowly graduated towards Country Rock. The self-taught musician has been nominated for the Grammy’s twice and has been nominated at the MTV VMAs four times.

His songs have reportedly been used by many wrestlers as their entrance themes in some instances and the rocker even composed the theme of WrestleMania 34. Kid Rock also performed at the 2012 edition of WWE’s Tribute to the Troops event and even gave a stellar performance at the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania.

5. Ozzy Osbourne

The legendary heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne began his career as the frontman of the band Black Sabbath. He was a founding member of the band and hs rendered his vocals to some of the band’s most iconic tracks such as War Pigs, Iron Man, Paranoid, and NID. The iconic singer has also seen success as a solo performer, with his songs such as Crazy Train and Mr. Crowley being his most popular. Apart from the WWE Hall of Fame, he has also been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Osbourne reportedly made appearances in the WWE Universe multiple times, performing his latest songs and even crooning at Raw’s Got Talent. The heavy metal legend’s War Pigs was also used as the theme for NXT Takeover: War Games.

6. Pete Rose

Known as ‘Charlie Hustle’, legendary baseball player Pete Rose is famous for his stint with the Cincinnati Reds and was part of their Big Red Machine lineup in Major League Baseball. While Pete Rose’s legacy in baseball became tarnished after his gambling scandal and he was deemed ineligible to be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame, WWE welcomed him with open arms and inducted him into the Hall in 2004 (via ESPN). The legendary baseball player had many appearances in the promotion and had run-ins with wrestlers such as Kane and Rikishi. Rose appeared throughout the 2000s and even featured in WrestleMania events.

7. William Shatner

Star Trek William Shatner made his way to the WWE Hall of Fame in 2020. The actor is known for his tenure in the original Star Trek franchise, where he played the role of Captain James T Kirk. He also reprised his role as Captain Kirk in the Star Trek films until 1994. The actor also became the oldest person to go into space at the age of 90.

William Shatner first appeared in WWE in 1995 and had a beef with Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler. The two hashed it out on Raw a week later and Shatner even had a bout with Jeff Jarett and Road Dogg. Shatner even returned in 2010 where he was a special guest host, stealing the night with his impressions of famous theme songs of WWE stars.

8. Donald Trump

The former President of the USA and business mogul Donald Trump had been associated with WWE for several years. The billionaire and reality TV star was the 45th President of the USA and served in the Oval Office from 2016 to 2020. The controversial President will be returning to compete at the polls this year and is reportedly campaigning against Joe Biden yet again.

For the WWE, Trump provided his Donald Trump’s Plaza graciously to host two consecutive WrestleMania events and the reality TV star even joined in on the show, challenging Vince McMahon to a ‘Battle of the Billionaires’.

9. Drew Carey

The famous host of The Price is Right and Whose Line Is It Anyway made an appearance at the WWE in the Royal Rumble match. He was the first celebrity to ever enter a Royal Rumble match and he even had a feud with Vince McMahon.

He was choked and punched by Kane in the Royal Rumble match before he was saved by Raven. Carey was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

He made another appearance interviewing André the Giant and was choked by the popular wrestler after an altercation.
